Hey most awesome peeps of the Lily Pad Pond! I so love ya'll. I seriously, miss loving up on you all, and watching your lives be revealed in your gawgeous pages. My life is going so darn fast right now!! Son gets married in 13 days...I have 100 pounds of meat defrosting in my kitchen! Son got new job! Then it was on hold due to our city having hiring freeze start last Friday. Then he got it back due to most awesome dad, talking with City manager. I have been on meds for 2 weeks for nasty kidney/bladder infection, finally off those and feeling normal! My 16 year old boy, yeah got biopsy back, NO to cancer, but has to have it removed (after wedding, thankfully)! My dad has surgery to remove stage 3 melanoma. He is doing GREAT!!! Today, my hubby has interview for a NEW job with the Federal government, the could increase our income by almost 50%! My 6 year old has decided, he doesn't want to go to school anymore, and is having daily melt downs of craziness daily. Wearing my butt down...but we will prevail. My Beast (15 passenger van) radiator exploded on Friday. We wait for parts (living in the middle of nowhere does have limitations)...so for our family to get from point A to b, we take 2 vehicles. hahahah...and fill them both up...and I miss my big ol' BEAST! The weather has been absolutely beautiful, and is supposed to stay this way for wedding...as the reception is in our back yard...happy happy Sooooooooooooo....I am gonna be popping in and out as I can, for the rest of the month...but please know I am missing you all too!
Such exciting times for you, Anne! Other than an expoding radiator, things seem to be going more than well! Eeeeee a wedding!!!
And I think I have a lot on my plate this week, sheesh Anne, this makes me dizzy just reading it! You'll need a vacation when it's over! Hugs!
Wow, Anne, so much is going on in your life right now! Thanks for popping in to keep us updated. Praying for good weather for the wedding. And good luck to Hubby in his interview. So glad to hear that your 16-year-old got a good result from his biopsy, that must have been scary for you. Hope your beast gets fixed quickly so you can get back on the road. Hang in there with the 6-year-old - I find it helpful to remember that God isn't finished with kids yet, it helps me cope when there are melt-downs and seemingly unreasonable behaviour - they do push us to our limits sometimes! Hugs, and I hope you have some time to take a few breathers and enjoy the wedding in the midst of all this activity!
Ann! You have my head spinning... and realizing that my busy is nothing compared to yours! Cheez - sending good vibes and happiness toward you all! Happy Wedding - so exciting!

Oh my goodness Anne. You are serioulsy WonderWoman extraordinaire! I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better and that your son got the job. Also happy to hear that the younger son didn't have cancer. Glad to hear that your Dad is feeling good and I'll continue to pray that the doctors kick that cancer straight outta his body and that he continues to feel good! Oooh and hurray for the new job possibility for your hubby! That is some fabulous pay increase! They'd be lucky to have him! Sorry for the troubles with the van and your sweet boy deciding no more school is the plan for him. Poor kid has summer-itis a little early, huh? Must be the nice weather! Thanks for the updates and know that we'll be here once you make it through that wedding crazy times and can't wait to hear all about it, until then. GO TAKE A NAP! LOL!
Ann, I am worn out just from reading all you have going on!! Yay to weddings, new jobs and no cancer!! Boo to hiring freezes, littles deciding on no school and meltdowns and radiators blowing up.
I wish we could bottle your energy! I sure could use it. I'm exhausted just reading your post lol. Good luck on the job, wedding, and everything else. God Bless!
