January 22: Paper to Digi

Hybrid Gallery inspiration paper to digi:



reason: design (made my own template by looking at her page); pastel colorscolors; I loved her two framed photos- one having the sepia tint and the other a light color toned photo; I loved the stitching, the added embellishments and the flag like paper trimminbg... with inspiration from 3littleks I made it my own, below

I was browsing the gallery and find a super nice title (here) that I want to try.
The story behind page is the weather. We didn't have frost nor snow at beginning at december at all.

Here's my page. I copied a lot of it--the black and white photo, the title on the photo and the shapes.

 

I chose this page as my inspiration:


I started by creating a template that lifted the photo blocks. I love the photo stretching across multiple photo spots. I was also inspired by the fact that it was paper so after I finished my page, I placed it on a white background to make it appear as if it was a paper page I took a picture of

love, love, LOVED this challenge!!! it always forces me to concentrate on my shadows and i always end up loving my pages so much more when i take that extra time. I basically recreated all of it digitally!
