***Congrats to our winner Scrappy Penguin! Watch your PM's for a message from me.*** Hey all! Welcome to another edition of the sketch challenge! After a bit of thought, the Pad's admin thought this forum was the PERFECT place for our sketch challenge to reside. Come back each month for a new challenge! Here is a reminder how this challenge works. I will provide you with a 3 x 4 sketch. Your job is to create a layout using this sketch. Obviously the first thought would be that this is strictly for pocket scrapping. Not so!!! All layouts integrating the sketch are welcome! Integrate it how you would like....a pocket page card, a greeting card, or part of your digi page. As with all templates/sketches this is a jumping off point! Use your creativity and have fun! A few things to know before you get started. As you complete your page, please remember and follow the Lilypad Challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad products. You should post your layout (with a link) in this thread so it can be tracked! And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love! This contest will close on Friday, January 31 at Midnight EST. The winner will receive a $3 store coupon. If you complete this challenge as a hybrid project you will receive double entries. ***Please remember that hybrid does mean the project is printed out and photographed.*** Enjoy!
I think I could be addicted to these...gonna play and wow so many fun challenges all over the Lily Pad!
Eight more days to get your entries in! I've got my card started but just need to get some presentation paper to print it! I can't wait to show it to you all AND to see your interpretation of the sketch!
ok, i know the end result looks nothing like the sketch, but i SWEAR i DID use the sketch as my guide. sometimes it just works out that way, ya know?
Here's mine! I mostly use pocket pages for catch up and vacations. With MOC I'm pretty well on top of things, so I used it to make a regular layout. It's the title page for the 2013 section of our Advent book.
Rebecca I see the sketch in your journaling card! You've just moved a few things around. That is the best part about the sketch challenge...it can take you places you have never imagined. BTW I hope you are doing okay! What a scary experience to have a work.
nymalexis I love your layout!!! I'm in love with that large picture! Great interpretation of the sketch!
What a fun experience scrappy penguin! I love how you turned the simple embellishments on the sketch into cute little flower clusters. Great idea!
Thanks to all who participated in this challenge! I'm a bit late posting the winner but I did announce who it is in the first thread! Check it out!
