It's been forever since I've been active in the forum. Had a lot going on. Life changes finds me in Ohio with an amazing boyfriend, three well behaved ACTIVE kids, and an additional three he is bringing to the table. I've enrolled full time in the community college and going to get my Business Management and Entrepreneurship Associates Degree and also a Photographic Technology Certificate (As a photographer a degree or certificate is not needed, but I want something to call my own in my field :) )

I'm reestablishing myself in my hometown with my boyfriend and our kids. I have now soccer, dance, school (both them and i), cheerleading, and gymnastics to worry about :) I need an app that will help me organize... i guess all of their activities, my to-do lists, grocery lists, and budget/bills... To save myself from downloading a bunch of different apps and going through a painful trial and error process I'd rather just turn to some other parents I respect - maybe you can help yeah?

    Thanks :heartslub

You sound busy indeed... I so admire you for going to school while juggling all the kids and their activities as well. I use Cozi and I like it, although I've not tried anything else. It has a calendar that you can color code for each person and even set up text reminders, shopping and to do lists that you can customize, and even a little journal where you can add notes about your day or whatever you want. It doesn't have any budget features though. Definitely helps me keep us organized!

If you find what you're looking for, let me know! I have one app for recipes and menu planning and shopping lists (it's excellent!), and for scheduling I use the calender that came with the iPad.

Oh, the app I mentioned is called "Menu Planner". Original, eh?

What kind of devices are you running? I personally like Things the best of anything I've tried and I can use it on my Macbook Pro, iPad, and iPhone.

Well I've started to use Cozi. So far so good. I actually haven't had a whole lot of time to mess with it lol. I did get my next three days into it. I haven't added any lists yet, but it looks promising lol.

I tried Cozi, but I wasn't a fan...but that was when it was web based and before the app and before I had a smart phone. It has really cool capabilities so I bet you'll find it works good. I just used the calendar app for organizing, and our calendar syncs between mine and my husbands phones so we only have to enter it once. For budget I use the Mint.com app. It's very useful and you can sync it with your investments and bank accounts. For groceries, I haven't found one I like. I still use pen and paper lol :)
