Has everyone recovered from DSD weekend? I hope you all had an amazing time What is everyone up to this week? My kids are home for the next 2 days for parent/teacher conferences so I, of course, have parent teacher conferences. I'm going to have to get up at 5am tomorrow so I can go vote when the polls open otherwise I have to drag 4 kids and stand in line with them (we live in a swing state so things get a little around here on election day). Our football season ended on Saturday so we are just down to the end of lacrosse (I think we have 2 more weeks). Hopefully this will be a nice week to decompress just a bit. I need it! I hope you all have an amazing week!
We got back from our vacation last night so this week is about playing catch up on everything. I've already started scrapping with missed BYOC goodies, and plan to spend a fair bit of time this week scrapping! Other than that we have our homeschool coop and gathering on Wed. and not much else planned for the week. After last week I need a low key week!
I neglected housework this weekend, so I'm going to be cleaning as much as possible! and scrapping, I've got to get some pages done!
Stacking firewood after the trees we cut this weekend, and a meeting after work on Wednesday. Not much else... Oh, and might have a romantic date?
The weekend went by way too quick. We had to cut a huge tree down in our backyard so that took up a full day. Then since we had the bad weather trick-or-treating was rescheduled for Saturday. The kids had fun going and surprisingly the weather was great for it! Sunday we were too exhausted to do anything! Now it's back to the regular crazy schedules of school, work, taking kids to their activities....yipee. lol
Nothing overly exciting this week. Today I started the Chalean Extreme videos. I'm lucky to be typing this right now. This afternoon we have a conference call with our attorney regarding last week's IEP meeting for #5. Then a parent teacher conference for #4 tonight. Wednesday #5 has a dr appt. Other than that, it should be relatively quiet this week. I hope. The kids are home today and tomorrow for conferences. Grr. Can't we do this via email so they can go to school?
Let's see..... Monday ~ school for two boys, have to go pick up fundraiser pies and deliver them, catch up on some TV shows Tuesday ~ VOTE and then head to the Children's museum to celebrate our little one's second birthday a few days early!! DH took off work and the kiddos don't have school Wednesday ~ school, grocery shop Thursday ~ our Baby Boy turns 2,School, speech, story time, cake and ice-cream day!!!! Friday ~ School, buy last minute party stuff Saturday ~ heading "home" for Derek birthday party!!!!! Sunday ~ relax!!!!
I was gone 3 of the 5 workdays last week, so I got catch up at work and then of course, I am home sick today. I need to get my house back in order because DH did nothing while I was gone. And of course, get better! We have soccer pics today, husband has a school board expulsion meeting tonight, soccer practice on Tuesday and Thursday and then a game on either Friday or Saturday. My DD is finally done with soccer. This week is looking busy!
Which of your kids play football, Kelly...is it full tackle or flag? Our football season finished Saturday, the team placed 2nd in tier 2 of the ATOM (8 - 10 yr olds) division. The game was in another location because our field is frozen solid, and isn't turf, so it would have been too dangerous to play on ours. The field managers had to shovel off 6 inches of snow off this other field before the games were scheduled, so they were very busy in the morning! This is looking to be a beautiful week. Temperatures are above 0C so the snow is slowly melting, and still perfect for making snowmen, and having snowball fights (which the kids + dh did yesterday).
This week I seriously need to get moving on unpacking more boxes! That was my to do list for this weekend, but instead I sat in front of my computer all weekend and played along with DSD. I did get some pages scrapped, designed a new kit, and had fun with my fans on Facebook, so it was all worth it! But seriously, I'm having a birthday party in two weeks for my youngest, and I need to get my act together!
I am really looking forward to watching the rest of season 4 of 'Drop Dead Diva,' scrapping with some of the goodies I bought over the weekend, & listening to the 'Pitch Perfect' soundtrack another eleventy billion times. That be it, yo.
It should be a nice, peaceful week at home and then we're off again on Friday for Hunting Season! I don't mind hunting (a little) but to be perfectly honest......I go because the rest of my friends (girls, of course) are there and boy.....do we have some wonderfully, fun times and very interesting conversations!
ive had a good weekend but must say think my arm is aching from using my phone to much to keep up with the stuff going on here lol
I plan to eat Cherry Garcia tonight ( NANA Micheline) LOL and I really want to catch up on some reading and Gossip Girl. My baby daddy will be on 3 days this week ( The Voice ) so I want to watch that too. I really don't plan things LOL
The girls have taekwondo practice Mon. and Tues. and we have parent teacher conferences on Thursday. I am trying to catch up from DSD.
Playing with my new toys. But not actually scrapping. My TLP goodies are so pretty, I just keep flipping through them all... hehhe
