I want wondering what process you take to upload a new avi? How do you save? Etc.......

It always seems like whatever I do...it's never as "crisp" as the original. It is always a bit fuzzy.

Same way for FB....my avi there too is a bit fuzzy.

    It is driving me BATTY!!!!

LOLOLOL!! Sorry! I really don't have a good answer for you! I always resize to the requirements in photoshop and then save as a jpg and that's it.

Do you know Ask Damien? I feel like I've seen him write something about fuzziness in photos uploaded to FB & am trying to search for it. If I find anything, I'll get back to you.

Yah, same happens here. I dunno why!? I've been frustrated with photobucket lately, uploading some of my LO's there and it makes them look sooo blurry. It drives me bonkers! More so than with my avi :p

ETA: I wonder if you oversharpen by a ton, maybe then it'll look nice? lol

I think the main thing is to have your avi the exact size as required by the forum, so the forum software doesn't do any additional resizing of your image (which won't be as good as doing that yourself in Photoshop).

My resize-for-web action lets me sharpen and I usually do a little sharpening before saving-to-web (depends on the image, but I usually start with amount=10% and radius=20 px in Unsharp Mask). Also I've heard that save-to-web also slightly desaturates, so a small boost (6%) in saturation might help too.
