My husband surprised me with an iPad recently and I havebeen obsessed with the "Top 100 Free" book lists from the AmazonKindle store. I check it daily and download several books a day. Are thereothers of you who are equally obsessed with this? If you are checking the free Kindle eBooks regularly and seea book you have already read and recommend, can you let us know in this thread? Many of the free books have very few reviews, so it's hard to tell what's good. I'd love to hear what you are reading or downloading. If you are not familiar with the free books the link is here
OH... I love free ebooks... off to check this list out to see if any of my favs are in there. Thanks for the link!
I read the Emperor's Edge by Lindsay Buroker and loved it so much that I had to buy the next 2 nooks plus the 2 short story books! lol The first is free, but the rest are not (though still very cheap)
Ooooh I just switched my Kindle to our Prime account and found out that you can borrow books!! I'm making a list now!
I download some free books, but my problem is that I buy books too, and I never seem to have time to get to the free ones. I'm always stuck on a series and want to read nothing else till I'm done. I do borrow some on Prime and lendle too, though not often because it seems like most of the ones on my list are not lendable.
The books I own on the "free" list are: The Hunger Games Series, The Help, Unbroken, The Lucky One and Steve Jobs. Thanks for this link! I read Great Expectations in High School. . .and would love to revisit that book again~ Ok~ The books I listed were on the top selling. . . not the free list, sorry! Does anyone know where the link is to lendable titles? I feel like Amazon makes it difficult to find those titles on purpose!
I have downloaded a bunch of the free ones, but have not read them. Have read the ones I have checked out from my library or bought. Most libraries have overdrive for book lending that you can do through the library website and it is a good option although they often do not have all the titles in the series etc. It is hard to find lendable titles on amazon. I know how to find if I can lend one I bought (under actions in your digital library on amazon). But I am not finding a list of lendables from amazon. Unless you are a prime member. Some people use lendle. they just had a big controversy with amazon recently.
This blog has some good info. Links on right side for some free stuff http://kindleworld.blogspot.com/
Hi, another happy Kindle books reader here. I check this guy's blog everyday for books that are free on Amazon that day. Some are only free for that particular day, some longer than that. He has the ratings and the blurb for each book and a direct link to it. It is quick and I have found a lot of books that I would have missed if I hadn't checked his blog. I also joined Prime so I could get the borrowed books and streamed movies.
