    K, that got your attention, didn't it?:giggle:giggle:giggle

I'm really a blah kind of cheese person and prefer good ole Marble. My question is, what is your favourite cheese and what is your fav way to eat it? (your fav cheese dish etc.) :)

Me, I like my cheese with grapes.. since I'm not a wine drinker, I'll have to settle for the grapes.:giggle

I love soft, smelly cheese. I love camembert, too bad there isn't any here. Cheese is so expensive too! There's no other way to eat cheese other than with bread, and perhaps some jam.

I'm with Laura. I haven't met a cheese I didn't like besides Swiss. My absolute favorite cheese dish though is just a plain jane colby jack grilled cheese. Yum.

I love melty cheese like on nachos... but not the saucy stuff. chips sprinkled with shredded cheddar or the kind with jalepeno in it and nuke for a bout a minute. yum. Now I'm hungry. Thanks a lot! :giggle

No! :giggle I eat cheese by itself, and bread, separately. The jam goes with the cheese, just a little bit. Like fig jam.

I love cheese. I love when Costco is doing a cheese road show...I make sure and take my youngest. He's like me and loves to taste test all the cheeses.

A fave is goat cheese in my salad. I love it on a grilled veggie panini too! I use gourmet cheeses to make grilled cheese sandwiches too....yummm!

Swiss cheese in a home made ham + broccoli quiche
thin slices of Jarlsberg with apple quarters
5 year aged cheddar with a slice of home made apple pie
blue-cheese butter on a medium rare grilled rib eye steak
feta chunks in a Greek salad
mozzarella and cottage cheese in home made lasagna

But other than Cheese Whiz (which I only eat on celery slices), I can't stand processed cheese. But I think I'm overly sensitive to preservatives and additives, because I don't like most processed pasta sauces either - I "taste" a chemically flavour in almost all of them.

We go through a lot of cheese in this house. I've managed to convert everyone to Cojack, and that's what I buy in block and shredded form on a weekly basis. If I'm buying sandwich supplies, I'll buy Provolone or Swiss, and I always ask for Swiss on my burgers and sandwiches when I'm at a restaurant.

The fancy kinds are too expensive for our budget, but since I don't care for wine or throw fancy parties, it's all good. :)

I love some fresh colby jack from the deli with sociable crackers... or actually with just about anything. Its awesome on soup, on sandwiches. In fact, this made me hungry, so eating cheese and crackers right now... at a little after midnight. LOL!

The day Costco opened they were doing samples of some of their expensive cheeses. I shoulda downloaded some of Jacque's 'staches and gone back a few times.

I made a goat cheese/bacon appetizer for a party once that was YUMMMM.

And I have said many times I'd like to open a little cafe in town and sell mostly gourmet grilled cheese and desserts.

Mmmm, cheese! I don't think there any cheeses I don't like. I had an amazing dinner the other night at a restaurant - goat cheese salad with grapes and ravioli with some kind of buttery/cheesey sauce. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

I put jam on my grilled cheese sandwiches, so I don't think that Cristina is all that weird :p
