I'm so thrown off by it! It gets dark too early and I feel like bed time is so much later than usual. Plus it suddenly went from being late summer weather to being winter weather overnight a few days ago and that's throwing me off too.

I like how we get that extra hour in the day, but I HATE how it gets dark at 5pm. Boo! I feel for ya Laura!

Oh I know! My kids get home from school at 4 and it gets dark not long after. Makes for a super short night for them.

see i LIKE this time change. it's the one in the spring that KILLLLZ us. that's our super crabby and out of sorts time change. boo.
so far this one has been like a dream for us. the kids are getting up easier in the morning and are ready for school early - no stress! yippee! its all good.

i DID fall asleep at about 10:00 last night though. not sure if that's to be blamed on the time change or just that i'm lame and boring :giggle

This is me too. I've done well with this one, but in the spring it really hits me hard. I don't like that it gets dark so early, but it's not too bad.

I hate the time change. When I lived in Hawaii...we never did the time change and we still lived. I just don't really see the benefits to it because it's always so hard on us for the first couple of weeks! :)

I agree I was talking to my husband about the very same thing last night, I don't think it's beneficial to change the clock ahead or back.

i think it is a big help for aggriculture. or so i've been told. as far as operational hours of daylight, etc. but then in the fall after harvest, they don't need the daylight hrs in the evening so much anymore. idk if this is actually RIGHT, but it's what i've heard.
