I've subscribed to a couple over the last two years from kids selling them through their schools, but I am horrible about actually reading them. I usually pick something like People or US weekly and then they stack up and frustrate my hubby. I just ordered a new subscription to Popular Photography (again through a friend's kid through school) but I'm hoping I'll actually be interested enough to read that one!
We get WAY TOO MANY magazines. Plus, I have such a hard time throwing them away that I feel like they are always piling up. Let's see: Real Simple, Traditional Home, Southern Living, Midwest Living, ElleDecor, Martha Stewart Living, Oprah, Better Homes & Gardens, Wine Enthusiast, Bon Apetit, Outdoor Photographer, Digital Photography, Digital Camera (from the UK), Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Etc... Omgosh, it looks even worse when I list them all out here, but I DO read them!
COMSO LOL I get it every month. like clockwork. i am still reading them from last year I also buy Glamour and Marie Claire im a tad girly with my magazines LOL these are my 3 i have to get every month. i got quite the stack of unread ones
The only one I subscribe to is Runner's World. But I will pick up others here and there if they catch my eye at the checkout.
I've got a handful that I'm trying to let expire, and a few that I can't live with out... Country Woman {best recipes ever!} Parents American Baby {somehow I keep getting subscriptions for this without paying for them} Southern Living Family Fun Scrapbooks Etc. I used to have a subscription to Scrapbook Trends courtesy of my mom {she won it at some work conference}. Inspiring magazine even for digiscrappers, but I couldn't afford the $100+ subscription when mom's ran out.
I read Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, and some parenting one. I have subscriptions to all three. I just started getting the parenting one (for free) when I got pregnant. The others I have kept the subscription up for a while now. John and I each keep up two magazine subscriptions each.
I get CK for now. I don't think I'll renew my subscription when it's over, though. I seem to go back & forth with this one. Hubby gets O-Guage Railroading (a specialty magazine about making model railroads... we are planning to do a model train set as a family project over the course of the kids growing up.)
I used to have several subscriptions, but found that I wasn't reading them and so just let them go. I recently got a great deal on a subscription to Entertainment Weekly and have been getting that for a few weeks and it is feeding my pop culture interest Other than that, I get Parents Magazine--mostly for the Gymboree/Crazy 8 coupons because I don't do much more than flip through it.
All of my subscriptions have run out over the past 4-6 months. I was subbed to Creating Keepsakes and Scrapbooks, Etc. plus Runner's World (which was my husband's subscription, but I still read them). And I read them all. Now I just pick them up at the store. I usually pick up CK, Scrapbooks, Etc., Glamour, Military Spouse, Parents/Parenting, Real Simple, MS Living....pretty much anything that catches my eye.
I have been reading Entertainment Weekly cover to cover for years. I just got a good deal on Time Out New York so I think that will be coming soon. I also read Rockland Magazine, a local one here, only because I design pages for it.
Good lord I could open a corner store wuth all my magazines lol...let's see I get... Scrapbooks Etc, CK, Paper Crafts, Crafts and Things, Parents, Family Fun, HGTV...brand new and I love it!!, Better Homes and Gardens, Do It Yourself, Women's Day, Flea Market Style, Storage, Fresh Home, People...digital on my iPad, Mollie Makes...also digital, Rachel Ray, Semi Homemade Cooking, Food Network, and a sewing one that I can't think if the name right now...I think that's all lol. I also pick up special issues whenever u see them and my MIL picks me up the Northridge Publications (Cards, Cricut, Simply Handmade, etc) whenever they are on sale or she has a coupon. I have a system for my old magazine...I keep and read them for the current month then when the new ones come I go thru the old taking out any projects I want to keep and put them into 3 ring binders...kinda like a real life Pinterest lol. I do that with everything except my Northridge mags and special publications...I keep those in tact on my book shelves.
Once upon a time we subscribes to quite a few magazines (CK, Real Simple, Cooking Light, a golf something or other for DG, Us Weekly). Now we don't receive any. Oooh! Although I am awaiting a subscription for Bugga to arrive..we ordered Zoobooks a couple months ago. That will be our only one.
I use to love Zoobooks!! Bubba is getting a subscriptions to Highlights as one of his days of Christmas from my MIL this year. And I also saw that Famil Fun has a new kids magazine that we may get for my Step DD. I think most of mine I am going to start switching to digital as they become available.
I subscribe to Better Home & Garden. The subscription is going to run out though by end of this year and i'm not sure i'm going to renew it again.
My subscriptions always vary. Right now I am getting Scrapbooks etc, Digital Photography, Family Fun, and Stationery Trends Magazine (random- I know). In the past I've gotten, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple, Paper Crafts....and I know there's loads more, but I'm totally drawing a blank! Out of my current line up, I will probably not renew Digital Photography (it's just so over my head! LOL).
We currently get Southern Living and Texas Monthly. For some random reason, Entertainment Weekly started showing up in our mailbox and the hubs and I both read it.
This is totally random but some reason when we moved to Florida DH started getting Latina magazine...which is funny to me because he is neither female or Latin.
Mainly scrapbook ones. I saved them all but finally parted with them, past them on to a friend who decided to start scrapbooking. I still have my 12 Ivy Cottage, I would not part with those. I love magazines, my mom used to pass them too me but not sure what she does with them now I miss them
We've gotten Entertainment Weekly for a couple of years and love it. Both the hubby and I read it cover to cover. We also get Family Fun, Real Simple, Martha Stewart Living and Chicago. We used to get SI and ESPN, but you can get so much sports content online the print mags seem so outdated by the time you receive them.
