What's your favourite comfort show? (memes ahead!)

I will read but need noise on in the BG. So... DH puts on Big Bang Theory. I tend to put movies on I've seen a thousand time. They aren't cozy, haha! More like Quentin Tarantino (I always find his movies hilarious after the initial watch) or world is ending type of terrible movies (The Day After Tomorrow, San Andreas, 2012, Armageddon, Deep Impact)

Kill Bill! Very relaxing -- really.

Not a comfort show, but dh and I are watching all the old seasons of The Boys on Prime before we start the latest season.

I have never watched The Office or Gilmore Girls. I know! Crazy! When I'm feeling blue and need an escape I will watch one of these to movies. They make me laugh because they are ridiculous.

I love Bullet Train too!

I have many, including Schitt's Creek and 30 Rock, but Derry Girls has to be at the top!

Oh my gosh! I loved Derry Girls so much. It was so witty and funny! I tried to get my hubby to watch it but he never wants to get started on it. I know he'd love it if he'd just try.

I've watched The Day After Tomorrow a zillion times and it's still one of my favorites!

My go to re-watches are The Office (that got me through the heaviness of Covid) I also loved Gilmore Girls, but I never did rewatch the whole thing. I know I wouldn't be able to stop once I started again. :giggle

I also love the Bourne Identity movies. I've watched those all a bunch of times too and another rewatch movie for me is Ever After (Cinderella story with Drew Barrymore). Just a good movie.

waltons - Zeb and Esther sit on their mountain, reminiscing about their 50 years together, each describing what the mountain has meant to them.

For me, I’ve been watching the West Wing. It has layer upon layers of subtle, and not so subtle, humor. I probably understand it better now than in the late nineties.
I liked the Call the Midwife and Derry girls and their antics. I will definitely check out how to get to heaven from Belfast.

I do enjoy the Bourne Identity movies, but there's not very much dialogue (which seems to be the case with a lot of action flicks), so you really have to WATCH them...LOL...and I'm usually doing something else (like scrapping) while watching so I need some conversation going on!

I've watched them so many times I still know what's going on. :giggle Plus I like the music. :)

I like a bit of background noise when I'm reading. I love the idea of Armageddon movies being your background sound track

Ohh I have meant to start this! My daughter thinks I might not enjoy the violence but I can always look away if it gets too gory :giggle
My fav of his is Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. every time I watch I swear I laugh harder! I think it's the combo of the characters, and some of the preposterousness that has films have.
Tarantino movies are always a guaranteed good time!
We are sci-fi people at my house. We love to watch Stargate Atlantis - one of the few shows I ever bought on DVD. Just love all the characters so much!

Ohhh Stargate Atlantis! Good one, I enjoyed this one too! I love Amanda Tapping she was very cool in both the original movie and the series .... and Jason Mamoa :drool le sigh!

Oh my goodness, I haven't thought about the Walton's in AGES! But My Mum used to love it and made me watch it with her. My brother and I used to call out goodnight to each other across teh hall and I would call him John-Boy :giggle

Hmmm I should give West Wing a whirl some day. I do love clever humour!
