Congratulations to @echoes77 for winning the $5 Gift Certificate! Enjoy!! Hello and welcome to the Mash Up Challenge! I hope you are ready to have fun with all the festivities planned for this weekend. I love taking inspiration from layouts that I see around the gallery. It gets my creative juices flowing. I hope today’s challenge does the same for you! I have chosen three different layouts from the gallery. One is a hybrid layout, one is a clean layout and the third is a little more messy, or grungy as we like to call it. Your challenge is to take inspiration from all three layouts and create your own single layout. You must post your layout in this thread and tell me the inspiration you took from each layout. Here are the layouts: Breathe by @ajm Day Trip by @*sylvia* and Seize today by @kellygirl! And here is my layout. I was inspired by the deer and bird, word art, and wood grain in the first layout. I was inspired by the clean design, the tag and the lined paper in the second layout and I was inspired by the stamp and paints, single flower on the frame, and the white leaves in the third layout. You have until 11 AM EDT on Tues, May 6th to complete the challenge. One random layout will be drawn with a $5 coupon offered to the winner. Also, your page should be new and made exclusively for this challenge. It should not be submitted for any other challenge/game at TLP. All who complete a page, should post the page in the gallery here at TLP, which means it needs to comply with gallery rules. Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. Please list all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Please post the gallery link or linked image in this thread to enter. Layouts must be posted by Tuesday May 6 at 11am EDT to be eligible for prize. All iNSD game prizes will be distributed after the iNSD sale, as coupons are not valid during store-wide sales.
Fun challenge! I was inspired by the cluster on the first page, the white background on the second, and the painted frame on the third.
layout 1 - Split design and Metal fastenings layout 2 - polaroid frame and corner cluster layout 3 - paints and stamping
Fun challenge! I think I'm beginning to like scrap lifting. My inspiration was: Layout 1 - Traveler's Notebook Layout 2 - Theme: Day Trip Layout 3 - Messy background
Thanks for the challenge Layout 1 - inspiration was a photo in nature Layout 2 - tags Layout 3 - lady with binoculars
I was inspired by the notebook from the first layout, the road and road trip from the second, and binoculars from the third page.
As I'm getting ready to post my page, I'm scrolling through the forum to get to the blank spot and I see @tanteva has used the same traveler's notebook! LOL Great minds think alike! So, yes, I did the traveler's notebook idea and then on the one with the road, I did take that idea and found a background with a path through the forest and blended that into the wooden background inspired from the first LO. So, you can't see it, but *I* know it's there! LOL And then from the third layout, I was inspired by the binoculars, so a pair are included on my page.
I was inspired by the flowers & foliage in Layout 1, the title and concept of a photo from a day trip of Layout 2, and the frame and markings in Layout 3.
I loved the line of flowers on the frame in the first layout. On the second layout I was inspired by the notebook paper background and the stack of tags as well as the cluster of circles. On the third page I used the idea of pinning down the doodle with the button like they did the frame with a flower. I also liked the ribbons at the top and the title.
I was inspired by the Notebook Style on layout 1. Polaroid Frame on layout 2. Stamp with number on layout 3.
My Inspiration: Layout 1 Breathe Wood Background, Animals, Flower Cluster Layout 2 Seize the Day : Various Photo Frames Layout 3 Daytrip Tags, title iNSD Mash Up by echoes77 posted May 5, 2025 at 8:52 PM
