Happy National Chocolate Cupcake Day!

Here’s a cupcake fast four for you:
1. Chocolate or vanilla?
2. Frosting or no frosting?
4. Homemade or store bought?
5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had?
 
1. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate
2. Frosting or no frosting? Frosting
3. Homemade or store bought? Homemade
4. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? Red velvet cupcake from Magnolia Bakery
 
1. Chocolate or vanilla?
Vanilla, not really much of a chocolate fan
2. Frosting or no frosting?
Even though I'm not much of a sweet tooth, if I am going to have a cupcake it needs to have some sort of topping on it
4. Homemade or store bought?
Homemade or bakery/cafe. Not into the mass produced ones at the grocery store
5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had?
Honestly can't remember. It would have been at least 3 if not 5 years ago

I’m not into the grocery store cupcakes either; they are the worst.

4. Homemade or store bought? homemade or specialty bakery
5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? I love the "better than everything" cupcake at our local bakery

Yay for both! ;) We have a local bakery with really good cupcakes too.
 
Here’s a cupcake fast four for you:
1. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate of course
2. Frosting or no frosting? lots of frosting
4. Homemade or store bought? both are tasty and can go in my belly
5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? mmm probably at a wedding a few years back it was lemon and had the best raspberry filling and fruit on top! it was sooooo good! they also had this chocolate raspberry one too and some other flavors i may have ate like 50 or more cupcakes at that wedding but dont tell anyone

2. Frosting - I use to be a more frosting the better kind of person, but all the sugar now makes me sick

5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? - Several years ago at a friend's wedding. It was an October wedding and the cupcakes were all fall flavors with the perfect amount of frosting and sweetness. My mouth is watering just thinking about them again.

5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? :hummm No particular one comes to mind. So instead, I will share that there is a gluten free dairy free bakery in my town called Kickshaws, which I only just tried for the first time early this year though they've been around a few years I think, and I'm so pleased on my middle child's behalf. For their 21st birthday next month, for the first time ever, they are going to get a professional custom made cake that is safe for their food allergies. :love

Mmmm I’ve never had a lemon cupcake but raspberry filled sounds heavenly!

I used to love alllll the frosting too but now I only like a little bit.

I’m excited for your middle child too! What a special treat! I hope they love it.

4. Can't say for sure but I can almost guarantee it involved a strawberry cupcake.

5. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? My daughter makes THE BEST. I'm not sure which ones I like the best. Lemon raspberry, chocolate peanut butter, maple caramel.

1. Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla (or lemon!)

2. Frosting or no frosting? just a little bit of frosting and I prefer the whipped cream kind over the buttercream kind these days.

3. Homemade or store bought? Homemade... but not by me! :giggle

4. Best cupcake you’ve ever had? The ones my hubby ordered for my birthday this year were awesome. Vanilla cake with light whipped cream daisies on top. They were pretty and delicious. And I forgot to take a picture of them. Boo!
