This year I plan on connecting more with me-self. There are things I want to do, get out more, and make more connections with people. I just bought a new camera (went mirrorless) and want to connect with what I see from behind the lens and get out more. I always feel a connection to nature and love to be alone, however, I need to connect more with people who are not my family or work mates.
I am excited to learn more about my connections while I participate in this month's challenges. I connect with people, nature, music, movies, spiritual stuff, body movement & fitness.... so much more.
When I think of connections I first think of people , my husband , grown children and grandchildren and friends. I have connections both in person and virtually I have connections related to my interests and volunteer work, connections with the community of stillbirth families , the medical community , photographers, my synagogue and my neighborhood. I connect with many different people from different places and different ages.
Connections are all around us - family, friends, random people, places you've lived, places you've traveled to, places you dream of, and the myriad of things in your life - books, music, movies, clothing, knick-knacks. Anything and everything that define who you were, who you are, or who you hope to become.
As a big emotion/feeling person (INFJ here) I connect to *big surprise* emotions first. How things or people made me feel. As a writer and poet I also connect to words, lyrics and quotes a lot as well.
Hi, I'm intimidated by the theme but excited to explore it and learn from other members. My strongest connection is to my immediate family, the friends I've grown up with, and as the grandkids grow up I work hard to keep a connection with them. I connect to new friends I have made through digital scrapbooking. Being a quiet person I connect deeply with nature and wildlife, I also connect to scrapbooking, quilting, gardening, mountains, and traveling.
I'm not a huge people person- my biggest connections are to myself, nature, music, my spiritual/religious beliefs, and art. I am connected to my husband and kids, and of course other family but I find people connections are harder for me and take more effort to maintain.
The first things that come to mind when I think of connections are people, especially my family, animals and nature. I have very strong empathetic connections. I'm also definitely connected to music, quotes, poetry, photographs and the theatre.
