Last year wasn't the best but when reviewing all the photos there were some very good moments, so this was an awesome challenge!
Lori : please ignore the horrors of the shadows, the bad sizes, etc. I m scrapping more as a therapy than anything, and this program I m using iOS frustrating...will take at least a month to get my way around PSe when this is done
I love that we do this challenge pretty much each year! It's such a fun way to review the year we just completed.
The order of my photos probably looks a bit random but they are laid out like the sides of an unfolded 12 sided dice so the months line up with where the numbers would be on the die. Dungeons & Dragons and polyhedral dice played a big role in our year during lockdown but I didn't have any photos where that was the monthly highlight so I incorporated the dice and D&D theme in my photo arrangement.
OMG! I found it so hard: first, I was not sure if I had photos for each month, then the most difficult: find an idea of design. But, suddenly, I remembered that I loved used masking tape to create vertical backgrounds behind my photos when I used to scrap with papers (paper scrapping). So, I decided to use the same design but with my photos. Thanks for this challenge! I had great fun doing it!
Thanks for this challenge. I had a wonderful time looking for photos and realized that even though 2021 was incredibly challenging, it also held many sweet memories.
Pretty quiet year - I had to stretch to find a photo for each month! Journaling is kind of cryptic for some months, too. But it's done!
2021 was ROUGH ... but I chose to focus on the beauty of nature through the pictures that my hubby took as his therapy I was so grateful to be able to find almost (except for 1 month) 12 months (from 2021) of nature pictures in his stash!
