I'm trying to clip pictures to these letters and would like the wrinkles/folds to show through the pictures. I thought I could do that with blending modes and decreasing opacity but I'm having trouble getting it to look real. Can you advise? I'm using PSCC. Thanks!!!

    the concept is the same

main thing is to clip your paper, then make adjustments by going to IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS pull down to LEVELS and sliding the middle slider under the large mountain or to your liking.
I think I used linear light mode on paper.
you may also need to stack some papers to blend. the white may wash out the paper you want

Ah! Levels! I always forget about levels.

I decided to just color the letters and tuck the drawings in amongst them.

But I will try to clip photos or paper to these letters again soon so your effort is not for nothing.

By the way, I have Valorie Wibben's topography products. It has been over a year since I used them though.

    Thank you!

Yes! That tutorial Anne shared is exactly what popped into my head when I saw your question. I can never remember how to do it and always have to go look it up. I'm so glad she included it with all those templates!
