Fun challenge! I'll definitely use this technique again!

 

This was fun. Glad I finally had some time away from hockey games to get this one done! (6 games in 7 days; I'm worn out!) Thanks also for the detailed instructions - they really helped!

 

I hope it's ok if not all the letters touch? Kind of hard to do with lowercase...

Used a Template as well as styles, paper and artsy bits from Wonderfall by NBK, so it was a little tricky trying to get this technique to work, but I think I did it!

I liked this challenge - I can add interest without making my page too busy (hello minimalist!)

Thanks for the challenge, but I really don't like what I came up with… maybe I will make a new layout, but for now… it fits the requirements ;-)

 

HA! I just noticed that the shadows on the water are going in the wrong direction from where the sun is shining. Oh well, the sun is playing tricks today!
Anyway, here is my layout for this great challenge.
