What a fun inspiration board. Here's my layout:

I scrapped my OLW (one little word) for this year. Heal. So my goal is to heal (mentally) after a difficult year last year.

My items from the inspiration board are:
    - a sketch (from the image with black and orange)
    - colors black, white, cream with a pop of blue (from the bottom right image)
    - Butterfly
    - Black background with white words
    - Rain

Wow what a great thought provoking challenge, I really enjoyed doing it. I hope I have met the requirements.

I used the following aspects to inspire my board.
    1. The image of the open book made me think of one of my favourite books by the Dalai Lama 'The art of happiness' which focuses on kindness
    2. The image of the books covered in Butterflies
    3. The painted portrait by Amedeo Modigliani (which was the reference for the photos of myself and the face of the Dalai Lama).
    4. The multiple quotes based on focussing on love, kindness and taking action to find happiness
    5. Cluster of flowers.
    6. Paint Splatters from the umbrella photo.
    7. The color palette

I used hidden journaling to document why I need to be strong, which is my goal for 2019. I was influenced by these 5 items on the Mood Board:

    1. The quote "Never Let Your fear decide your future"
    2. The sketched woman
    3. Raining Paint
    4. The circles of the color palette
    5. The spray of flowers on the bottom in the middle.

I used M3 May 2018 and elements add on for this page.

From the mood board, I drew inspiration from:
3 colors from the swatch (gold, navy, and pink)
    The umbrella photo (clouds)
The quote about strength (the Ironman theme of the page)
Follow your purpose (finishing what I started)
    The clip

What A Wonderful Challenge!...My Favorite Challenges Are Those Where Our Layout Is Open To A More Personal Interpretation Approach...This Inspiration Board Inspired Me In So Many Ways!...Way More Than 5!...

*I Sometimes Talk About My Own Personal Struggles With Anxiety/Depression & Lately Perhaps Too Much About Some Of My Other Personal Everyday Struggles Including Chronic Pain...This Layout Definitely Lends To This But More On A Positive Note & More On A Brighter Outlook Towards the Future...We All Must Find Ways To Improve Our Own Personal Lives & Especially Our Own Health Goals...This Last Year Was One Of The Toughest Ones Yet For Me & In The End I Have Lived Through This Only To Find Out That There Are More Struggles Ahead For 2019!...I Do Have My Bad Days & My UN-Positive Outlook Moments But I Have The Strength Of A Wonderful Partner Of Almost 25 Years Now & He Inspires Me To Push On...Before I Got Sick I Always Tried To Have A Positive Outlook On Life But Then Anxiety Crept In But I Won't Let This Tie Me Down...I Will Persevere & I Will Be Strong...

*IE...Thanks For The Inspiration With Your Board Challenge*

*The Five Things I Chose Are:

1.The Use Of Black & White WA In Particular
    2. The Use Of The Color Yellow(I Have Lots Of Yellow In My Layout To Represent Positivity)
    3. The Color Blue(I Have Sporatic Shades Of Blue To Represent My Anxiety/Depression/Mood But Not Too Much Representing The Will To Overcome My "Blue Moods")
    4. The Quote "Follow Your Purpose"...For Me This Is My Purpose For Right Now...Learning To Cope Even Better With My Anxiety Etc)
    5. The Girl Holding A Framed Photo...I Love This Concept & I Used It Loosely In My Layout...Multiple Photos All Of Them Framed...In Particular Focusing Frames On The Eye(Minds Eye) & The Circle Frame(Representing The Sun,Brightness,Balloons,Positivity,a Never Ending Circle Of Life Etc)...

*I Could Go On With More Influences But The Challenge Is To Pick 5:So I Did...

    *For My Positivity+ Layout-I Used:

    *Silent Battles:Negative Thoughts-Bundle-Rachel Jefferies
*Be Merry Be Bright-NBK Design(2 Items Used)

This freaked me out a bit - I'm not a goal setter - that just causes me unnecessary stress. However, after a little encouragement form Anne-Marie (thank you @A-M ), I managed a page about learning to use my new camera.
    Inspirations for the page:
    1. big frame
    2. painted figure
    3. colours
    4. scatters spilling out
    5. black text on white
