July Fast Five|Pad Patter 7.21

1. Trying to keep cool or trying to keep warm? Stay warm
2. Vacations or staycations? Right now staycation but if I had money I’d be having a vacation to somewhere warm
3. Rainy, sunny, windy, or snowy? Prefer sunny
4. Movies out or Movies at home or No movies? No movies most of the time but if a movie catches my eye I’ll go out to it.
5. January Resolutions: Going Strong, or Long Forgotten? Not sure what I set so looooong forgotten

 

1. Trying to keep cool or trying to keep warm? Depends. The outside temperature is 100+ F, but my daughter controls the temp in the house, which is always a chilly 70. So I go outside to warm up and put a sweater on when inside. ;-)

2. Vacations or staycations? Vacations. Never can let go of all the jobs that could be done around the house.

3. Rainy, sunny, windy, or snowy? Right now, it is sunny and dry. But give me a good thunderstorm! Love to watch the show pass!

4. Movies out or Movies at home or No movies? Movies at home ... DEFINITELY! Love to relax on the couch, snack when I want to (without taking out a second mortgage), and being able to pause the movie when nature calls.

5. January Resolutions: Going Strong, or Long Forgotten? I'm sorry ... what resolutions???


Bonus: Fireworks or Christmas - which is your favorite July "holiday"? (I know this one is North America-centric, sorry!) July 4th. I love that the whole nation celebrates my half-birthday with fireworks and picnics!!

 

1. Trying to keep cool or trying to keep warm? Trying to keep cool - but i'm NOT complaining! I love summer!
2. Vacations or staycations? Both - they each have their pros and cons!
3. Rainy, sunny, windy, or snowy? Sunny - love me some warm sunny days and sunshine on my face! But rainy days are so soothing too and give me a chance to not feel guilty about staying in and relaxing. We need time to recharge, right?
4. Movies out or Movies at home or No movies? I do like a good movie out. There's something about seeing it on the big screen with awesome movie theater surround sound. But most often we are movies in. It's been a long time since I saw one at the theater.
5. January Resolutions: Going Strong, or Long Forgotten? Trying - but they have morphed and changed quite a bit as I try to find something I can live with.

Bonus: I don't know that I really consider Christmas in July an actual holiday - outside of TLP/scrapping anyway. So Im going with July fireworks! It just screams summer to me.

2. Vacations or staycations? Depends on the company. Just did a vacation & another soon, but after I'm sure a staycation will be in order!

4. Movies out or Movies at home or No movies? Movies anywhere!!! I love them!
5. January Resolutions: Going Strong, or Long Forgotten? I swear I'm trying. So freaking hard!

 

1) It's actually about perfect right now, but last week I would have shouted STAY COOL!
2) Lots of weekends and day trips to mom and dad's house, dragging the camper to the river with friends for a week, and other mini excursions. A few Cubs games with friends. I guess I would call them mini-vacations.
3) Pretty sunny today! It's beautiful out!
4) We've watched a few movies at home, but I am trying VERY hard to not have the tv on during the day.
5) House and Organization: Fail. Big Fail. Working on myself: I'm getting there. I wouldn't say I'm going "strong", but I'm not failing either. Living Life: Winning. We have been so spontaneous lately and trying to really LIVE life to the fullest and be IN the moment.
