Have you heard the version of Silent Night on Susan Boyle's new album? It's amazingly beautiful!

I love sarah mclachlan's wintersong album, and Martina McBride's White Christmas album, particulary O Holy Night. I tend to collect every version of O Holy Night and Silent Night that I come across. :)

DH gifted me the new Andrea Bocelli My Christmas album early - and i love it.
Kinda threw me to hear the duet with Mary J. Blige, but it works.

My playlist tends to the standards - O Holy Night, Adeste Fideles, Ave Maria - by many different artists....definitely going to have to hunt up the McLachlan album, now... thanks!

I've said most of these a couple other places, but here are my picks:

    December (album) - George Winston
I Believe in Father Christmas - Greg Lake
Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul McCartney
Opera of the Bells - Destiny's Child
My Grown-Up Christmas List - Kelly Clarkson
    Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses
I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm - Kay Starr (an oldie but goodie, especially when re-mixed as they do in A Six Degrees Collection album)

I have the classics. Here's some of mine:

    White Christmas by Bing Crosby
The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by The Carpenters
I'll Be Home for Christmas by The Carpenters
    Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley

I have a lot of others, but those are some of my favorites.

Last year I grabbed three new Christmas albums....
Go Fish "Snow" (I went to school with one of the members)
    Barlow Girl "Home for Christmas"
    Hotel Cafe "Winter Songs"

I'm really liking them! It's nice to have some fresh new music to add to the playlist.

So guess what? On the way to work this morning, I heard a new Trans-Siberian Orchestra track - Nutrocker. I LOVE IT
this is the itunes link , track #24: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/night-castle/id336270195
It is making me very happy to listen while I slog through this work stuff. which is yuck - Office 2007 and Office 2003 are duking it out on my system , and I am losing my mind.
but anyway, you all gotta listen to that song. and think high energy, not meaningful emotion kinda christmas song ;)
