    that is stumping you?

For me, it's Jan. 6: Inspiration Board...I just can't seem to get started with that one.

    How about you?

That one was stumping me, too. I'm not done it yet but the speed scrap instructions that fulfilled the requirements gave me some ideas to hopefully work on!

@SirScrapalot the speed scrap for that day helps some. Basically what she is looking for is 5 things that inspire you so she used the white background on one of them, the sketch or altered photo, one of the colors of the pallette etc. When you look at each picture and find something it's easier. If you are like me you are looking at it more as a mood board where the whole thing is the inspiration. Hope that helps.
For me it's not really stumped just how to scrap the Explore one. The past year has been a lot of inner exploring and not much outdoor exploration because of a bad knee.

Oh, that was a hard one. Thankfully there was a speed scrap that helped me tackle that one. Otherwise I'd just be stumped!

I'm wondering if the instructions are still posted in the forum? Maybe that can help some peeps out.

For me it's the Year in Review. I never do those in my albums, so I'm quite stumped as to how to approach it. I do believe I'll need to look at what everyone else has done to get some inspiration.

For me, it's today's challenge (15 - paper blending). Mainly because the options are endless! I can't figure out which photos I want to scrap or what papers I would want to use. I'll focus in a little bit and pick something. But until then, I'll work on my PL spread :giggle

Oh my! That was one of my easiest ones!! I love those kind of challenges. My hardest was Day 13, having to journal about the word EXPLORE! It's bad enough I can't journal; but then to have to narrow it down to one word and have to use that word over and over in the journaling-----AAAGGGGHHHHHH!!! I am NOT happy with the page and wish I could do it over!!!! But on the bright side; there have been many challenges so far that I just LOVE, so it more than evens out!! Ya can't always have a bed of roses, ya know!!!! :no2

This is my problem, too! Normally I start with the challenge and find something to fit. For this one, I think I will just have to scrap a page that I want to scrap and use a blended bg on it.

The mood board stumped me, too!

for the first time, at this hour, I'm all caught up!! Lately it's been me doing three pages after all the children go to bed. But today, I'm caught up. No. I'm not stumped on any challenge--yet! I'm sure it's coming, though! :D

Write about it! There's no photo rule, and no rule it has to be outside. Just use Explore once, and leave it photoless or use a selfie. Write all about your inner exploration.

How many photos at the rink do you have? Cheryl and I ended up taking a similar outlook on that challenge. I documented my son and his grandma through the year, she did her two kids together through the year. I bet you have something to do with ice skating (outfits, performances, etc) through the year! A theme of the year meets the requirements!

My stumping is finding time to love on the layouts and scrap! The inspiration board stumped me until I looked at the speed scrap instructions. They gave me guidance and a different way to approach the board. I didn't use all of them in the end, but it was a great starting point!

The inspiration board had me stumped. I just got so overwhelmed with all the things and I could process them. The one I am stumped on now is the one word Explore challenge. It's going to take some thinking. But I am doing them in order ( to make sure I don't just skip one) so I'm not up to it yet.

I am actually spacing out on the double layout. For some reason I thought I had it in my mind but it is just not working out.

I've done a lot of challenges on other sites, so I haven't been really stumped on any...I just wish I had a bigger stash from this store. I'm really stretching what little I have. I LOVED the inspiration board challenge. I've done quite a few of those before, too. You have to look a bit deeper sometimes than color...look at the texture...the themes of each picture...how each pictures makes you feel...hope that helps some! Good luck!

Welcome to the Lilypad -- and good luck with the challenges. I had only started a few weeks before you so I understand what you mean. Maybe you were lucky enough to get some this weekend and get the free collab kit -- those are big and helpful! Good luck.

I don't want to jinx myself b/c so far so good....I"ve been ok with all of them....but...I know that could change any day now. I've been having fun! One thing I've been pushed to do more than usual is journaling and that's a good thing. I love one of my pages I did with a lot of journaling and had it not been for MOC, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have created a page like that.

I have been ok, the explore one was one of the toughest for me, 1/4 page of journaling was a stretch but it's done and I love it.

Hmmm... Maybe an opening page for your USA book about getting to explore another continent? And how it was different from Down Under?
