I've never participated in a book club before, but I love to read, so watching this thread and will try to get a hold of whichever book is selected. The Lake House sounds more like something I would choose, but the Nightingale sounds similar to something I read recently and really enjoyed (some cheap, or maybe free, ebook from Barnes and Noble).

The Nightengale is the only one I haven't read yet, but that happens a lot at my other book club too, so any would be fine!

I'm game for a book club.
I'm fairly certain I have The Lake House on my bookshelf & haven't read it yet. I love hardbound books. I have a hard time getting rid of them. On my Kindle, I'm reading Fern Michaels' Sisterhood Series. I'm on book 3.

Totally ditto to Julie. I have all three and want to read them all, so I didn't even vote. I'll read whatever gets picked. And YES to a book club! I've always loved when we all read a book at the same time so I can talk about it afterwards!

Great idea. Anything is good for me as long as it is available on kindle, since we do not always get American publications straight away here.
Edit. Have just voted for the lake house after having read reviews on all 3.

Which Zombie books? I've been reading World War Z, and would love a zombie follow up!

I didn't even know there were zombie related books. I suppose I should have known though.

@DixieDoesPSP I first met Zombies in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Not my favorite, but fun if you are a Jane Austen fan.

I'm so glad so many people are excited about this! It *looks* like we will start reading The Lakehouse! I am excited because I have loved Kate Morton's other books! She is an awesome author! A couple more days to vote <3
