Camp Chat: Camp Mascots

I always have a few plush friends with me on my desk: a bear my husband gave me when we were still dating way back circa 1995, a little yellow canary, the Sunflower from the video game Plants vs Zombies . . . but I will highlight my newest plush friend, a cow I picked up at the mall last December. Now to post the layout I just finished (visible in this photo).

 

my puppy was not thrilled this morning, I guess I should be playing fetch with her, she made it clear by sitting at the table...( click on the thumbnail for a bigger picture!)

 

This guy hangs out on my little side table. A gift from my son because he knows I'm a little obsessed with orangutans.

 

My best friend made me a gnome last year and he sits on my chair where I scrap... looking over my shoulder... because it's dark and I'm nearly off to bed I'm sharing a layout I made all about him.

 

Aww all of those little buddies are so cute. I only have one soft toy and he's a Build-a-Bear my daughters got me a few years ago. You used to be able to press his paw and get the recording of them saying "we love you Mummy" but that stopped working this year which I'm pretty sad about. He's my bedtime buddy. And my cat who would always want to sit next to me a snuggle whilst I was sitting on the sofa scrapping with the laptop died a couple of months ago

My desk is surrounded by whatever broken piece of a toy the girls bring & leave for me "to fix later", lol! I LOVE these mascots though!!

I miss my furry friends too. I'm very sorry for your loss.

 

I have to admit that I have no stuffed furry friends around. But I live in the woods. Can my outdoor furry friends join? Deer, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, possum, birds of all sorts, and I must not forget my turkeys with personality.

 

I havn't got stuffed furry friends. But I do have my fluffy butt chooks. They follow me around the garden. I am NOT letting them inside to sit at my computer, even though they would love it. LOL

 

I have my bunnies and birds (like @mcurtt ) as my camp buddies!

 

Mine is full of 'friends' my son needs me to 'babysit'. I currently have a Minecraft creeper Happy Meal toy and a blue ladybug kindness rock we got when he was 2. (I also have my husband's D&D Player's Handbook and DM notebook under my left monitor so it's eye-level.)

yeah, the partially drunk drink containers! Ha!! If we draw faces on them they can be our buddies!

 

Winston the Aardvark was made for me by a friend after I spent 3 months bombarding her with Aardvark facts lol and he goes EVERYWHERE with me. The Lion in the middle is called Bev - short for Beverage, He is part of a set 'Food and Beverage', about 20 years ago at work, we were gifted x2 lions in a takeaway food container! My bestie owns Food. The sheep is my husband's childhood toy (he is 46 now).
