I hope everyone out there melting can come inside and cool off soon. And enjoy some cold treats. I prepared for this heat wave with peach popsicles and mint ice cream sandwiches (Cado brand, a dairy free option, very yummy).

I am also multi-tasking... drinking coffee, watching telly and playing along here.

Do you ever wake up with a bug bite? Something bit my left calf last night and it has been itching intermittently throughout the day. Summer is my favorite season, but I have to say winter scores a point for being bug-free.

hehehe... it's more "hearing" the tv and keeping my eye on my laptop... then I get enthralled (or distracted!) and focus on the telly... it's a bit of both.

my worst is being bitten by the bugs in the night... usually mosquitoes for me but I was bitten by a spider a few years back which was really not fun!

Sorry that took me a minute lol I couldn't decide how to word step 5 so let me know if you think it sounds okay or if it needs to be worded different.

    Instructions: 1-2-3-3-5
    1. 1 photo, 1 frame, 1 fastener, 1 scatter & 1 string.
    2. 2 patterned papers.
    3. 3 solid papers.
    4. 3 word strips.
    5. 5 of something other than what's listed in 1-4 (5 hearts or 5 flowers or 5 leaves, etc.).

Add anything else you like - title, date, journaling, paint, more elements, etc. Just make sure you have the exact amounts for steps 1-5! You will have 24 hours to finish your layout and get it loaded to this gallery and also post it here in this thread to qualify for a random prize (sorry I don't have prize details yet). Happy scrapping!

Yes that happens to me. I've decided winter is my favorite because it's bug-free.

5 of the same thing. Good question. I made one page with five hearts and another page with five cherry elements.

And my journaling (which I've already written while I was waiting for step 5 :D doesn't count as one of the 5 in step 5?
