And now for a different style of book. LOL! We read this for in person book club. A fictional diary of life in the Arizona territories, including the hard parts. No glorifying the wild west here! It was hard to be a settler, and especially a women, and this book emphasizes it in many ways.

These is my Words: The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine, 1881-1901

Trigger Warning: Attempted Sexual Assault but written in a very overt way. No details or anything. One member of our club was disturbed by it, so I feel the need to add this in.

Oh! Fabulous pick! I loved this book! Funny story about how I came to read this too... this is my first book recommendation from someone I knew through digital scrapbooking! Way back in the day when digi was new, Rachel Young (former TLP designer) recommended this on a now closed forum!

So turns out Memory Chamber needs a trigger warning too but I feel like that's a spoiler in part.. @Karen if I had finished it, before suggesting it, I would have known sooner - sorry!

It's hard to say what needs a trigger warning and what doesn't really. I wouldn't have thought of it except for my in person book club person.

If it gets picked, I can add a trigger warning in the forum post just to be safe. I'll add it as a spoiler and name it "trigger warning" so if people are worried about being triggered, they can click the spoiler and read it. If people aren't worried about triggers, they don't have to click and won't have the spoiler. Sound good? Thanks for letting me know!
