I've done it both ways. I typically print at home because it's faster. But I've also created multi page inserts and sent them to a printer. I dont recommend this, because it takes a ton of forethought and arranging the pages in particular order. I go through a friend's parent's mom/pop printing company and it costs me ~$8, but it also takes like 4-6weeks.

My preferred method is to print the pages front and back if i am planning to put into my disc bound or ring bound planner, or just cut/trim a page and glue it into a notebook i have. I can do one page at a time that way.

    Hope that helps!

@klee73010 Yes, it does. Thanks! There’s so much to learn about all of this, so this helps a lot.

    Don’t hate me, ladies, but......
I’ve spent 2 days researching Travelers Notebooks and pocket printers. This morning NewEgg has a special on the Canon Ivy for (with tax) about $60 (with a coupon code provided right on the site), so I ordered one. All that were left were the mint green ones, which was not my first choice, but not a deal-breaker.

The TN research has taken even longer. I was pretty much resigned to start with the Michael’s version since it is so inexpensive...to see if I’m going to love it. Well, while on Amazon, what should pop up but a LEATHER one for about $20, with rave reviews. It will be on my porch Sunday. ;)

Still heading to Michael’s today to shop for cute accessories (stickers, clips, washi tape, .....) after DH takes me to Red Robin for lunch with our BOGO Reward! Am I spoiled, or what?

A little background: For years I used small ring-binders to organize my life...even used them instead of a purse because they carried everything I needed. Now I need even less (drivers’ license, credit card, and Costco ID). Anyway, I have experience with the TN sort of system, so I know I will love it. I have less Life to Organize now that my kids are all grown and gone, and I no longer work even a part-time job, but I still need the monthly calendar, so the TN will live on my desk where my current calendar is. But what excites me is taking it with me on our trips. I used to make little mini trip diaries, and still love looking back on them. But since going digital, I make scrapbook pages about our trips (& we take LOTS of road trips and golfing trips), but not little books. The TN with the Ivy seems like an elegant and FUN return to yesteryears! I took a class from Tangie Baxter on Junque Journaling, which I loved, but find I don’t use it much. I anticipate that my new TN system will be a sort of practical compromise.

So happy for this thread, and thank you all for your input. If I knew how to make a video, I’d do so in order to let you see my purchases and what I did with them. But I’m not tech-savvy, so you will just have to imagine!

    I CANNOT WAIT!

SO excited for you @SharLamb - the leather ones on Amazon look amazing - I have a few in my wishlist! :) Sounds like you figured out the perfect way to make them work for you - and it sounds right up your alley. Enjoy!

You can always take some pics and share them here in the thread! :)

Hmmmmm, did you know today's challenge was coming?? LOLOL Good timing!

I know I would not keep up with it, but I love the "craft"iness of ya'll that are doing them! They're amazing. I just don't do enough to do a Project 52 let alone a daily journal. My life is rather sedate. :)

OK... The artist in me is intrigued... But not going to do this... the issue for me , is what happens to them after you finish one... I have a whole basket full of small albums I have created over the years.. both paper and digital...They are separate from my albums recording my life in chronological order... I also have several adorable little albums I created out of paper at Scrapbook shows over the years, that I never figured out what to put inside, because they are just a small piece of the larger scene... Hope that makes sense.. sort of like storing things on flash drives... pretty soon you have a huge pile and no idea what is where???

That is the other side of it all, especially since I'm trying to downsize. I'd think they'd make great gifts for people who don't want large albums. Other than that, I'm not sure I'd delve into it all since I've too many other photos to scrap.
