This was difficult finding a photo that would work but once I knew what to look for (simple lines) they were jumping out of the woodwork). The layout was inspired by a magazine my husband was reading!

I changed the color of the photo 3,481 times. lol

 

I loved this technique and learned something new! Thank you for the challenge.
I left this page very simple because everything seemed to detract. Loved adding this quote from Michelangelo!

 

thanks for confirming! I didn't even open Artisan or Historian to check after reading the thread, just went here, saw the second option was "Gryffindor" and knew EXACTLY what to do

Interesting technique. Might be fun to use for a fun teenager page! I used the duotone website. The second option available was a color option called Gryffindor. I use Artisan and after making my picture with the website, did try in Artisan and Historian (another of the CM software) and couldn't get it to look anywhere near as good as this.
