I use a little word visible on the ephemera ‘tempted’ after meeting someone ‘digitally’ in a forum and a strong connection was instantly formed . . . tempted . . . I wondered if I should go ahead and meet a ‘stranger’ in person, is that crazy? Would it be safe?

I decided to go for it, here’s a shot of my perspective before I boarded THE most important and pivotal train journey of my life.

One McDonalds and cinema date, lots of chatting, giggles and laughs, many more long distance phone calls, texts and visits which eventually led to us moving in with each other and then getting married.

My journaling reads “I was 24 years old and my life was about to be turned on its head. I jumped on that train to Reading to meet a stranger, and here we are now, 23 years later, married with two children. I’m so glad I took that train ride . .”
