Peoples Revolution

Thank you for sharing this bit of history with me. I enjoyed learning from your journaling. What a hard time for your family to be separated! I like how you kept your journaling in one big block and used pops of color to add interest around the page.

I was still young when the EDSA Revolution happened. We were able to see the planes circling the sky that time so I guess our place was that near. In my very young mind, I never thought the danger those planes meant. But I remember my parents just looked over as well and didn't even tell us to get inside the house. I don't remember other details afterwards but I remember it was a special day because Feb. 25 is my birthday and ironically, my husband's birthday is Sept. 21 which happens to be the start of Martial law... so it really suits us coz I'm the "fighter", I mean, the peaceful one, in our marriage

Very nice layout, btw. I would never have thought of scrapbooking this event since I don't have pictures and I really don't remember too much.
