What's new
I love this page, you photo, your journaling, I feel that in my bones. Life seems to be spiraling out of control so quickly. Beautiful page.

I love that you are capturing the "I can't believe it" side of this, because when I first saw your Lima skyline photo, I was like, "when was she in Peru?" but it had a 2026 date on it, and I was like, "that was fast! how did I miss that she went to South America?" So, it sounds like it was a quick trip out of nowhere...which is exciting! How could you not fall in love with the llamas? My mom had a cousin that worked in Peru for a ministry called Mercy Ships in the 70s. I remember my grandmother and great great aunt going to visit and they brought me back a purse made with fluffy alpaca fur...it was very soft. And that's the extent of my experience with Peru.

@trekmom @scrapchyck Thank you both! I left home on June 1, flew to South America by myself. Was picked up in Lima by a tour group called Road Scholar. There were 17 of us. I was back home the afternoon of June 10. A whirlwind of a trip. And dealing with high altitude is no joke. But the entire trip was memorable in so many ways. More Peru layouts to follow...
