I am sending a virtual hug, a great big virtual hug. I feel your pain. I am so sorry that life is difficult, and I have prayers for you to have a light at the end of the tunnel. This page is heartbreakingly beautiful. That's a good thing. Bittersweet is a good thing. Your feelings are important.

I love your heartfelt journaling. I love the vulnerability in these words. I think we all have been in the shoes of comparison. Please know that you are a beautiful flower in your own right and your bloom is just a lovely as anyone else.
Some great quotes I try to live by:
"Comparison is the thief of joy"
"A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it, it just BLOOMS"

Your pages. Your feelings. Your joy. is all welcome and celebrated here. I have struggled so many years thinking my poetry was not up-to-par with the counterparts around me. So I feel your words deeply.

      BUT YOU ARE ENOUGH.

@LoveItScrapIt Kiana, you are such a blessing to me. Thank you so much for your empathy and your support. I love the quotes - they call for me to make Affirmation cards and post where I can see them. Thank you so much, my friend. :bk

Scrapbooking is so much more than collating pretty photos. The pages tell the scrapbooker’s story and the stories of those people and things they love. This page is a perfect example of scrapbooking as an exploration of self – very similar to that seen in art journaling. I love that you ended with ‘I am so grateful to have had this talk with myself’. I hope you continue to find joy in Scrapbooking, for many years to come.

@AnEnglishLady, thank you for your thoughtful response and for bringing up this page again. I am going to reread it to see where I was; I wonder if I've grown from that point or if I am still there. Your words are an encouragement to me. Thank you.
