What you need PRIOR to this tutorial:
A finished layout
Your layout uploaded in the gallery
1. Go to the gallery.
2. Find your layout.
Log in and click on “MY PHOTOS”, circled in the image below. A lovely gallery of images will appear with all your layouts you have uploaded at the-lilypad. Browse through until you find the layout you want to paste in the forums and click on it.

After you have clicked the thumbnail, the layout will become full size in the gallery.

3. Copy your image address - this can be done in two ways, A or B below.
A. Scroll down and you’ll see a new little addition we have added to the-lilypad gallery, a place labeled “DIRECT LINK”. Click on that box and it will highlighted. Copy that information by pressing CTRL + C.

or B. Now, not all galleries have that cool link, so here is a second option for copying the image address. Hover your mouse over the layout and right click. A little pop up menu will appear. Click on the option “COPY IMAGE ADDRESS”. You have just copied the address of your layout in the gallery. Nice, huh?!

4. Post your layout image in the forum.
Now go to the forum and maneuver to the thread in which you need to post your layout.

Start your post.

5. Insert your image. (You can do this two ways, A or B below.)
A. Start your post. Then to add your image you need to type . It should look similar to the image below.

or B. Click the “INSERT IMAGE” icon, the little square with a tree.

After you click the “INSERT IMAGE” icon a pop up menu will appear that looks like this below. Paste your layout URL by right clicking and selecting PASTE or just press CTRL (or CMMD for Macs) V for the shortcut.

The pop up window should look something like this below, only with different gallery info. Be careful that you do not have the “http://” in the image address twice. Then click “OK”. The pop up window will close.

6. Post your comment with your layout in the forums. In your forum post you will see “” That is what you need for your image to be in your post. Now finish your post and click “POST QUICK REPLY” or “SUBMIT REPLY,” depending on what posting screen you have open.

Your layout should appear nicely right in your post, like below.
