Hey guys! How about another 15 minute challenge on the 15th of the month?
This challenge is to help you create a digiscrap layout in 15 minutes.
The 15 minutes applies to the time it takes to create the layout– not the time to choose your supplies or photos- but if you follow the tips- I promise- you’ll breeze through that as well! :yup

This month we will tell the WHY.
Why did you take that one photo- and what is the story behind it.
You can check out the details for this month's challenge here on my blog.

Every layout you enter gets you a chance to WIN a $10 gift certificate to my shop! More layouts- more chances!

    keep in mind:
    1. You need to follow the challenge I describe in the blog post
    2. you need to use 100% ForeverJoy Products
    3. and- if you play along, you need to post your layouts and links here in this thread.

And HEY! I played along with this one to be sure it could actually be done in 15 minutes- you can check out the real time video and the layout here on my blog- along with details about how you can play along too!

love your methods of keeping this to 15 mins - choosing photos from a million folders really is a time suck and if your dis-organised like me (read: i don't tag anything), mixing and matching while fun can add hours to a page .... i like the phrase that we don't need to always make GSO type pages!

:hide it took me 30mins from the point of dragging stuff in cos i ended up changing kits from Study Hall to Magic Moments and ending up with a 2 kit, 100% FJ page - pics from my 'scrap these' folder, b'cos they immediately sparked the journalling part of my brain

@bellbird :beat I LOVE IT!! And the way you used that design is awesome!

Plus- want to hear a secret- I don't tag either! But I love that Google Photos helps me find stuff with keywords- and the more I use it- the better it gets. I may have to make a video about my new crush on it :yup

Not a ton of journaling, but I didn't need much.

I had already decided what to do, so the actual scrapping was 18 minutes. Usually, I need more time than that just to decide on background and fonts! Thank you for the challenge! I'll try doing it more often.

I would love to say this took me 15 minutes, but that would keep me out of heaven. lol I took 25, but most of that was spent making my photomask; Thanks for the fun challenge!

I really enjoyed your video of you scrapping your page. I used every second of the 15 minutes because I had to work on the string shadow. Thanks for the challenge.

    Great tutorial, thanks! 14 minutes
I used the preview of the kit as a background to chose my photo
and it really helped to get the colors right.

I failed to make my page in 15 minutes. But I love my page so it's okay. :D
The actual scrapping was about a half hour, but from inspiration to posting was nearly an hour. I still only own one full ForeverJoy kit  (and a couple paper packs, and a bloghop kit) so the first thing I did was look at my stash to remind me of what I had to draw from. I've used the Mix Tape kit a lot, but I haven't actually used the mix tape elements, so that was my inspiration. I found five actual mix tapes I still have around, despite the fact that the only tape player I have is in my van, and I photographed them and processed them. Then I looked for photos of myself around the time I made those tapes. Now you know why it took me so long. :) Usually posting my layouts takes a long time too -- typing up all the credits -- but since I did follow the guideline of using only one kit, that was very quick for a change! Now I'm heading to bed, but this has inspired me in another way: I'm going to look for some of these songs in iTunes and add them to my digital collection that I just started growing last year.
