The directions that are included aren't working well for me with PSE15. I found levels in Layer adjustment, but it doesn't seem to do anything to bring out the crinkles. I made the blending mode linear light and down to 11%, and that brings them out a bit, but what else can i do that won't make my photo so light, yet will bring out all those wonderful dips and crinkles and lines in the mask?
I played with some of these templates yesterday in PSE14. Did you try increasing the opacity of the layer? I had to play around with levels (shortcut crtl+L) moving the black slider more into the middle to make the crinkles darker and upping the opacity of the layer (to almost 100%) to get mine to look right. If that doesn't help, post a screen shot here so we can see more to help.
