Yay! And guess what? I can stay up for late scraps and chats now because I quit my job! No more getting up at 4:30 am! Happy dance!

I'm planning on it. May not make the chat room, but I think I can catch the details when they get posted.

I'm in charge of a polling location Tuesday. It all depends on how quickly we can wrap things up once the polls close (which is right when the scrap starts).

Hope I can...stay up! (even though I don't work) but congrats @QuiltyMom!!! 04:30 is not a civilized hour for humans imho.

I decided to go see A Wrinkle in Time with my daughter this evening. Tickets are half off on Tuesdays. So I won't get to speed scrap after all. Bummed, but at least it's a fun reason! :)

I'm heading to the chat room in just a few minutes! Hope to see lots of you there!

@michelepixels I hope you like the movie! I saw it with my oldest son the week it came out and I liked it, but he didn't like it because it was too different from the book. :giggle

We wrapped up quickly but I was too exhausted to even try. Next time...

The certainly did a great job at the heart wrenching emotions! It was a bit too speedy and left out the science too much. My daughter wanted to watch the 2003 version when we got home to compare and confirm that indeed the original movie was better. And I am searching for my old copy of the book so I can read it. Madeleine L'Engle was my favorite author when I was a teen and I still have my collection of most of her books.

I actually broke my own cardinal rule that I must read a book before I'm allowed to watch the movie on this one. I still intend to read the book and I even HAVE it, just haven't gotten to it yet. I didn't even know there was a 2003 version. I might have to check that one out too!
