Hello everyone! I am heading to the chat room right now to get a new speed scrap started. I will post all the steps here too for anyone who wants to follow along without chatting. I'll update the steps in this first post as I hand them out. STEPS: 1. Start with 1-3 photos stacked in a vertical column. (I used 2) 2. Add at least 3 elements under your photo(s). I stacked several paint splatters and brushes. 3. Add at least 3 elements at least partially on top of your photo(s) AND add one scatter (beads, sequins, etc.) 4. Add a large title on the side of your photo stack that is rotated 90 degrees, so that the word(s) are vertical, not horizontal. 5. Add a mostly neutral background paper. 6. Add journaling below your photo(s),.. the amount is up to you. I wrote a LOT! 7. Finish your layout with a date and if needed, a subtitle on the opposite side of your photos from the large title. i.e. if your title is on the left, add a subtitle on the right… if your title is on the right, add a subtitle on the left. Here is the page I used as the basis for the steps above:
I hope this is neutral enough-I took down the saturation. Thank you for the chat, Karen, I love how different all the pages are!
There are two paint splatters and the work stamp under the photos. I missed most of the chat -- but this was fun!
Ok, I was able to add my page to the gallery, I think it's my firefox, or I don't know what it is, but I know I have big problems with my pc and no money to fix it, so I have to wait for better times Thank you for the chat and challenge @Karen
I feel your pain on the computers... it's just awful when they start acting up and misbehaving and it never happens when I actually have the money to fix them. @Electra was having troubles with hers last night too! Darn naughty computers! Glad you girls were still able to get your pages done and chat last night!
Thank you again Karen! I know I can't really do anything for my computer right now, but I hope this problem with the gallery will stop soon, it's such a pain esp when I have to post in a due time, I swear I watched those little signs in the right upper corner for 5 mins before giving up! I was so happy when it finally worked, like woohoo!!
Oh no! I'm sorry you're having trouble uploading to the gallery. Is it because of your computer or something with our gallery? I didn't notice any trouble when I uploaded, but you never know what different browsers will do or affect. There's nothing like a deadline to make everything go slower with a computer too, huh? Sometimes I think it would be so awesome to be able to just pause time for a minute, you know?
