My first vote is for The Light Between Oceans. I just became the 60th person to request one of my library system's 13 copies of the book.

My second vote is for Michael Caine's autobiography, which I just ordered (used) because I have two, maybe three, kids who want to make it in the performing arts, so it sounds like a book for us!

Yay! I'm so glad we're back up and running again after the crazy chaos that was my summer. I need someone to tell me what to read next. :giggle I voted for the Who We Were Before because I picked that one from the Kindle First selections this month too. It gets really good ratings on Goodreads too. But, almost every single one of these sounds good. I already read the Light Between Oceans and 11-22-63 and I really enjoyed both of them. Looks like we can't go wrong this month!

I voted. :) "Oceans" and "Ove" because (1) I love Michael Fassbender so I want to see the movie but want to read the book first and (2) "Ove" cuz I'm reading it right now and love it.

Alrighty peeps! We have a tie! Any suggestions on what to do? I'm leaning towards just going with Light Between the Oceans cause it's top of the list. LEt me know what you think and I will snag it this weekend and get the threads up and started!

Have light as September and ove as October. I think we still have enough time for both.

I'm not sure we have time. People seem to really like to have at least a month because some people cannot purchase right off the bat. Maybe we can do do Ove for November though and skip the voting for that month?

I had the voting set to automatically close but we can count that vote as the tie breaker :D

I think announce Ove for November since it was tie/2nd place, and allow people to get on wait lists now if they need to. I put it on waitlist at my library several weeks ago, and am still waiting to get to the front of the list.

I'm in for Ove for November. I had checked it out but hadn't gotten to it yet. Now I have time to finish what I'm working on and get another copy from the library.
