Thank you @wombat146 and @keepscrappin ... figured I'd try and take a peek in my PS to see if anything could be the issue ... the two programs really are quite different in so many ways. I forget how mind boggling & different it can all be. I hope the reset works for you Maureen ... or the upgrade? I think you mentioned you were moving on to trying that next?
Have you opened a template lately? I found with PSE if I opened a template made by a designer who adjusted the things that you CAN'T in PSE, they would stick (like all caps, or kerning, or some of the other spacing options). The only way I ever 'fixed' it was closing completely out & opening with a new template that I knew had 'normal' text options. Worth a shot!?
oh that's a good idea... never thought of that one! That's probably why things go wonky at times. Thanks for sharing your fix.
ahhhh yes! that could be it.......... I came across that once, ages ago ........... the CAPS LOCK would stay 'down' even if the CAPS LOCK key was not turned on. I tried resetting the tools etc which didn't help but then I googled and googled and finally found a solution, which I have on a sticky note on my pc! lol! Use CTRL+SHIFT+Y to turn off the CAPS LOCK!
@amien1 You are right! I found that since i used Cheryl's template yesterday for the Day 12 Challenge, the issue is resolved. I rarely use TLP templates but one of them must have had that PS adjusted text that can't be altered in PSE.
