I Loved Your Idea For This Challenge As I Often Use Multiple Papers In My Layouts As Journal Cards,Elements,WA Etc So I Knew Exactly What I Wanted To Do Right Away...Perhaps You Will Feel My 80's Vibe In This Layout...I Chose 3 Papers That Had WA On Them!...For The "Ouch" WA Page...I Distressed The Paper & Added A "Canvas" Effect To Make The Letters Stand Out Even More...For The "Seize The Day" WA Paper...I Brightened It Up A Bit & Added A Small Glow To Make It Stand Out Even More & For The "Adventure" WA Paper I Added Some Transparent Effects To Make It Stand Out More & Then I Added A "Flower" Effect To Make It Look Like It's Bursting Out And/Or Glowing In The Sunshine To Give It More Impact...I Love Mixing Layout Styles & Using Bold Bright Colors To Achieve A Graphic Effect That Draws Your Eye In...I Had So Much Fun Making This Layout!...Thank You For Your Challenge!...

Here is mine

 

I'm a little confused on this one, so hope I did this right for the bonus entry! I used 3 different stripes, and I clipped patterned papers to the clouds.

 

I was definitely challenged by patterned papers. I may have gone a bit wild going through my Pink Reptile Design products and playing with the stripes. Good fun. I, also, wanted to be sure I got the bonus entries to I clipped patterned papers to the banner strips at the top of the page.

I will go for a bonus-I made a messy mask and used one of your Washi tapes with it. (No 3) I also used A LOT of stripes and made more striped paper using the C-Thrus as a mask.

 

Fun challenge. I love patterned paper, but then, who doesn't?

 

That was an interesting study of using patterned papers! I used stripes:

 

Thank you for the inspiration! I exctracted three butterflies from the patterned paper and added shadows.

 

I went with the 3rd rule, I hope I did it right...

 

love the 3 ways post, as always, and, well i didnt exactly break out of the rectangle block habit but i got 3 patterns going and hey, no template (i can't say that too often these days )

 

I love the variety of way to use patterned papers!!!

 

I used 3 spotted papers plus all my patterned papers are clipped to the hearts.
