October Random Challenge

Hi everyone! Happy October!

This month, I wanted to bring back a challenge I hosted last year that was received really positively - the Telephone Game. It's going to work like this: if you want to play, sign up in the thread below. I will start the game off by selecting a page out of the gallery, and sending it to the first person who can scrap a page within 24 hours. That person will scraplift the page, and then send their page back to me. I will then send their page on to the next person who can scrap a page within 24 hours, and so on. We will probably have two games going on at once - depending on how many people sign up. Once i have 7- 10 pages back (I'll decide that once I see how many people sign up), I will post them all together and you can put your page in the gallery. Please do NOT post before I reveal them all together, because we want to see how the page evolves from person to person. Make sense?

If you want to play - please post here! If you have any idea about your scrapping schedule (e.g., you can always scrap on Tuesdays and Thursdays OR you cannot participate until next week, etc.), please include that info as well. I will keep a running list of participants in the post below. Any questions? Just ask!

ALSO - please check your PMs if you sign-up, I will be using that to communicate with you all. I will also post in this thread every so often if I have a page and am looking for someone who might be able to scrap a page quickly.

I can't really leave you a telephone game inspiration page - since the game will start with you ... soooooo - i'm just going to show off one of my most recent pages for you so you can be generally inspired by gorgeous TLP goodies



As you complete your page, please remember and follow the Lilypad Challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the October Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked! And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love!

The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

2 challenges = 10% off
4 challenges = 20% off
6 challenges = 30% off

If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).

woohoo - so glad to see all the interest i've got the first post updated with a list up to here. i'll send PMs to the starters (i'll pick two people who said they could scrap on weekdays .. ) in a little over an hour, once the kids are off to school!

and thanks nemla - it does take a lot of time LOL - i'm going to TRY to check in to the thread twice per day and not go toooooo crazy ... haha - we'll see how that works
