Hey there Pad Challengers!! So, I've always been a little bit behind the times and usually feel like I'm showing up to the party as everyone else is leaving. Apparently I'm the same way with scrapping. Wood grain elements and papers have been around for a while, but I only recently noticed them, and I'm bummed it took me so long! What a fun, intriguing thing to scrap with!! Your challenge for October is to include some type of wood grain on your page. It could be a paper, element, alpha, whatever! As long as its clearly a wood grain product. If you need some examples, check these out: Woody Feathers from Lynne Marie: Woodland Papers from Micheline: Woodgrain Journal Cards from Liz: Wood Veneer Shapes from Krista: Vintage Sunshine Alpha from Amy W: And so many more! Just type "wood" into the store search engine, and you'll find some great product! Here's my page with wood grain, using Philosophy by One Little Bird: As you complete your page, please remember and follow the Lilypad Challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the October Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked! And of course, your page should be posted in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love! The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). Let's see how you play with my newest discovery - wood grain!
Love all these pages!! I am personally not a fan of the wood elements but one little one I can live with
