for this one i climbed up a few rocks higher (seeing i'm short and usually take either ground level or my eye level shots) so i could see more the surface of the rocks they were looking into, rather than just from the side skimming the surface, if that makes sense
I took this photo by sitting on the teeter-totter looking up at my 9 year-old, who thought this was completely terrifying. Photography Challenge- Up is Down by Juliestcyr posted Oct 10, 2016 at 7:55 PM
I took this photo years ago, but I was trying for some movement in the photo. I took some straight on and the photo looked so static. By moving to the side and catching the swing obviously swinging forward, I think it is more interesting.
I used several perspectives in these photos. I took the one of the top of the statue looking up from the street. I also knelt down to get the shot of the river with the fountain in the foreground. I also bent down to get the shot with the flowers in the front of the river view. Finally, I used zoom to get some icon shots from the city skyline. Thanks for the challenge - I love to take photos from different perspectives.
I knelt down to get on a even level with the ducks. Then I ended up having to play with the picture so you could actually see them.
for the top photo (with the crown), I pre-set my focus and put my camera on the ground next to her plate. the flash was a bit bright but it didn't seem to bother her too much.
