My backyard neighbor just threaten my dogs

It's SO their loss, Dalis! Like I said earlier, there's someone like this in every neighborhood. We have the nicest neighbors except for the people right next door. They don't like anybody and not very many like them. Of course, they live right next door. He came over and asked our grandkids to be more quiet in the pool one day. He said his wife had a headache. He's too big a coward to come to us, so he said that to the kids, who were just having fun in our pool. They didn't tell me or my daughter for awhile, because they knew we'd be right over there confronting him! Luckily, they're "snowbirds" and they're only here in the winter. I'm always so happy when they leave. There have been other things too - they don't have any grandkids and they don't like kids or dogs.

@Dalis : you are a good woman. Don’t let their negativity rub off on you. Don’t give them that power. Home is such a special and sacred place- let them fade into the background. Prayers for this.

 

I'm glad he was at least nice and not some meanie. Crossing my fingers for you!

 

How long did he say it would before he got back to you?!!?

Ugh! I have one of these neighbors - they make me so angry!!!
Like everyone said, document EVERYTHING!! Especially that fence thing you talked about. Did you take pictures of it when he broke the fence?

Also, have the other neighbors made complaints about their dog? Do any of them have any documentation, videos, etc.

This is not animal related, but we have a lady who harrases the children when they are outside playing - and she started making formal complaints against them which has gone to a hearing level. So we as parents started documenting her harassment - with video and writing. Once we showed the video of her yelling at the kids for playing (in the common playground for our housing unit - they were not doing anything wrong at all) the housing authority switched their investigation really fast.
