Alrighty! We have our 10 suggestions for books, now you guys get to vote on which ones we will read for May through August this year. The poll allows you to vote on your top FOUR books. The links for all the suggestions are listed below so you can read the descriptions of each book and see which ones you want to read. Personally I'm going to have a hard time picking because these all sounds great!

I will leave this poll open until April 5th. That will leave plenty of time for people to get their selections on hold at your local libraries. :) Here are the choices:

    1. 11/22/63 by Stephen King
    2. The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
    3. Don't You Cry by Mary Kubica
    4. Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate
    5. The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman
    6. Secrets She Kept by Cathy Gohlke
    7. My Sister's Grave by Robert Dugoni
    8. The Life She Was Given by Ellen Marie Wiseman
    9. A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn
    10. Where'd You go Bernadette? by Maria Semple

Some of these are not available to me at our library. Five of them are available out of this list. I love the variation in genres to choose from. The ones I can't get, I will refer back to our library over the summer and see if any come in. Great selections!

I feel your pain Rae. I actually have hold requests for two of them that I'm like number 65 or more... eek! I hope I get them in time. One my library has now and the other I'll probably have to buy... of the ones I voted for. I didn't check them all yet. Why can't I just have all the books for free. sheesh! :giggle

I've started Bernadette because i had it anyway and even if it doesn't get picked, the 'what next?' when you finish a book is always a bit difficult- quirky and fun characters so far, good recommendation to whoever added it for the vote -looking fwd to seeing what we're reading

ordered Before We Were Yours from the library - I'm #62. LOL. But I think there are like 24 copies, it shouldn't be too long
How do we decide on that 3 way tie for 4th? LOL (I voted for 2 of them!)

I'm number 52 with only 6 copies... so I'm hoping to get it sooner rather than later. I was at about #75 when I first requested it about two months ago, so there's that. :giggle

Um... in the past when there have been ties, I usually go by whatever is rated the highest on Goodreads. :)
