Hi everyone! Renee here hosting the journaling challenge this month. The idea for this challenge came to me as I was just dozing off to sleep. I was thinking about how everyone has an experience in their lives that has terrified or traumatised them. So for this month's challenge we will be doing somewhat of a scrap therapy. We will journal about an experience we didn't like. Mine is about my experience having my wisdom teeth removed... it was horrible and has forever scarred me! I know it may seem like a silly even to have happen, but for me it was one the scariest moments of my life. I know you may have to dig deep for this challenge and only share what you feel comfortable sharing with us, you be the judge but sometimes it's good to let other people know that they are not alone. I can't wait to see your pages! As always, your page must contain at least 75% of Lilypad product. You should post your layout in this thread, as well as in the March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked! The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete all 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a guest spot on the Lilypad Creative Team! The first six challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the seventh challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
whew, I cried while making this page...and plan on doing the other side this evening. thank you for pushing me to art journal! I missed it so so much
here is mine. thanks for the challenge. it's not quite "tramatising", but it's still very distasteful for me!!!!
Thank you so much for this challenge. It was painful to remember all these things (and that's the one page I won't let my son read for quite a few years) but sometimes it is a necessary evil!!! Lol! It reminds us of how strong we can be.
and one from me... I thought a page wouldn't be enough to tell the whole story, so I went for the worse part of the whole event.
