It's soon to be a new year and we have some new books to read together! Hooray! I am posting the next few months all at once, so we can all get these books on hold at our libraries in time. The book we will be reading for March 2018 is The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan. Please label spoilers or even type them in white like I just did right here (highlight that blank space) so that a person has to highlight it to read it.
After reading Jan & part of Feb (only about 25 pages) I'm looking forward to this one! Looks to be a bit more humorous LOL
I just finished this one! Loved it! Easy read but entertaining. I've never been "into" the royal family so I imagine there are some references that slipped past me- but it was really cute!
I finished this a few days ago and I also really enjoyed it. Here's my review from Goodreads: This was a light easy read, and was an interesting (albeit not completely realistic) modern day fairytale. I thought it was interesting to see the obvious parallel between these characters and Kate and William. I really enjoyed the ending and that it wasn't how I expected it to end. It was longer than I expected, but I liked the character development. I like the first half of the book better because it was just fun, but the whole thing was easy to read and like.
@umyesh what surprised me was that it was light and silly at times but it was also quite thought provoking about the type of challenges that kind of life could bring up. It was deeper than I was expecting but balanced out so well with fun and silly too. It is one of my fave books lately.
On Chapter 12. I’m loving this book so far. This year’s selections have been FANTASTIC! Thanks, Karen, for spearheading this!! @Karen
Have I said yet that I love this so much?!!? 3/4 done and so far this is maybe the best book I’ve read in a really long time!
Just finished the book. I LOVED IT!! This book made me laugh and cry. It’s so good. Highly recommend!
I read it this week and thought it was a delightfully fun book, a bit of fluff for a rainy winter week.
Just finished this last night! I didn't love it at first - I thought it was a really slow start. But, as the characters continued to develop, it started drawing me in more! I love the ending - kind-of perfect for the two of them!
Reading this one now - 17% in and really enjoying it! One of my favorite parts right off the bat - Bex being from Iowa and my hometown of Des Moines having a mention as well!! Does anyone else get a little thrill when there is some kind of geographical connection for you in a book?
Can’t believe I didn’t post when I completed this. I finished it Friday. Less than a week to read. Helped that I had the flu again. Lol. This is probably one of my favorite books in the past few years
I ended up staying up until 2AM finishing this book last Sunday!! Monday at work was rough, LOL! Loved it!
