Welcome to Kristin Aagard Designs' SURPRISE! Challenge On the first Sunday (maybe) of the month Kristin hosts a new challenge, the challenge type and requirements change each month (surprise!). The challenges can be subject matter challenges, photo challenges, technique challenges, journaling challenges, etc. The challenges are typically for the full month but that can change (surprise!). Even the number of winners can change (surprise, again!) Let’s get started... December 2017 The Challenge = Photo + Timed Challenge Create a layout about following the six photo instructions below within 48 hours (due 11:59 pm PT, Sunday 12/31/2017). The rest of the layout can be your own - papers, elements, title, journaling, etc. Photo Instructions: 1. Have two photos. 2. At least one photo should be center-ish to the layout. 3. The photos orientation must be different from each other (i.e., one horizontal, one vertical). 4. Both photos must be in color or must be in black & white. 5. Both photos must have 1 or more people in it; the same people can be in both photos. 6. The photos must be two separate photos; not the same photo used twice but differently. The Prize = One winner for $20 to Kristin Aagard Designs store. The Deadline = December 31, 2017 11:59 pm PT SURPRISE! Sneak Peak January 2018 January means MOC at The LilyPad so I thought I would give you a sneak peak of the January 2018 challenge and the opportunity to work on it in 2017 The Challenge = Period in Review Challenge Create a layout about a review of time during 2017. If could be an event/holiday or a particular day, week, month or the full year. For example you could have a layout about Christmas 2017 or November 2017 or Week 40 of 2017 or 2017. The Prize = One winner for $20 to Kristin Aagard Designs store. The Deadline = January 31, 2018 11:59 pm PT Special Instruction: If you work ahead on the January challenge please wait until the January challenge thread is live and post your layout in that thread. Link an image of your layout before the end of the challenge in this TLP Challenge Thread or in the Fan Club Event; please include your credits. Fun challenge. Although I was trying to save my photos for MOC, this one gave me a chance to use some that wouldn't ordinarily have been scrapped but which do represent one of our long standing traditions.
Took me awhile to find pictures with people in them! Thanks for the heads up on January... turns out a layout I've already done fills all the requirements and it hasn't been uploaded yet.
