Hi my name is Timmi and I have kit buying problems. I want to hoard ALL of the fall/Halloween, winter/Christmas kits, then I get mad at myself when I don't have any everyday kits LOL! Anyone else have this problem?? Or maybe you have the opposite problem?
I buy anything with a camera in it. And then wonder why I don't have other kit types. Or themes. I see the theme and go: Oh! I have photos for that. And then no kits for non theme photos. Sigh. I'm working on it.
I hear you with the Halloween kits. I LOVE Halloween kits, but you know what? We have not much of a Halloween here, my kids don't go trick or treating and I never have Halloween photos to scrap.
LOL @Rikki - that is pretty funny! I gravitate to cute cameras in kits too @bestcee !!! Cannot resist those! I also have a thing for camping/hiking/outdoorsy kits.
The way to get me to buy a kit is include musical themed elements. Also, theater/movies. But for some reason, that is far less common.
Oh fall is my favorite and it really is difficult to resist so I look really hard at the included items and see if there's one that is truly unique - that I don't have. I've never been one to buy to use Right Now so I have a lot of items that ....shall we say Matured?
I just want it all! I was just telling my girls that I need to get more fall pix with them because there's so many fall kits I want. Then I'll do the same when the Halloween and Christmas kits come out and so on and so on.... hehe
YAS!! I NEED more everyday type kits...but alas...themes have me all twitterpated!! I super love kits that have vintage cameras...oh yeah... Ohhhh!! Good point!! I just know what I like and I'm sticking to it LOL! That's funny! I'm going to make it a point to take more Halloween photos even if I look like a crazy person! I ran to the store this am and forgot my phone...I wanted to take a photo of all of the warty pumpkins they had in one of those huge boxes and couldn't! There were some really cool ones too!! Had they not been almost $7.00 and would rot in a weeks time I so would have grabbed one to take photos of at home to scrap LOL I LOVE outdoorsy ones too!! I just need hot desert type kits! Red rocks, dirt, boulders, cactus skeletons...you know wild wild west type of kits LOL This too!! I'm just glad there's SO many options!! I love road trip kits! I love beachy ones too, but we never seem to make it to the beach often enough or I'd have a million and one of those too LOL I love that there's SO many options!! I've noticed that, especially with theater/movie themed kits! LBW came out with a new music themed kit!! I wish I had your willpower!! *looks shifty eyed around the room making sure I'm alone as I type* I've been known to buy kits for because there's been one or two things in it that I HAVE to have...not the best habit I can get down with your matured kits...that's a much nicer way of saying I hoarded a kit, but I haven't used it yet LOL Yes! Buy. All. The. Things. I wonder if we can find a REALLY good photo a day prompt thing for October...I know we're already three days in, but that's noting to get caught up on!
Anytime I see a new sports kit, I have to have it. Thankfully, not many of the designers release sports kits very often.
cute birthday and christmas kits i can always justify adding to my stash b/cos hey i have soo many pics i can use with them and know i'll always have more - but i think i scrap those events pretty infrequently compared to everyday moments! (and i indulge in travel kits to motivate me to get a couple steps closer to finishing some travel albums and maybe b/cos it's cheaper than actually travelling again!!)
