Loving my arch!! It's full of love for snow. Finally we had some and only hoping we have more!!

 

I hope this on is ok. Seems the directions are confusing and pages look somewhat different than I thought.

Well, that was... interesting! Definitely not my usual thing!

 

I really loved this challenge Anne! Thanks for introducing me to AJ. I'm liking it way more than I thought I would.

 

Thanks for a great challenge - I really enjoyed this one! I'm looking forward to doing more with art journaling this year.

Day 30 - I was excited about this challenge and knew exactly what I wanted to do for it but I was very disappointed with the results but I was out of time and I didn't want to leave one undone so here it is for what it's worth.

Font - Maphylla

 

Here is mine...I believe that I followed the guidelines!
The arch is there, I just have leaves and flowers layered on top of the base of it
Please let me know if I have to change anything!!

Okay Take 2

 

It's almost strange how perfect this challenge was for me. My favorite poem in the world is "Romanska bågar" (Romanesque Arches) by Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer, and it has a deep and magical meaning for me. I know that you can hardly read the words here, and that is kind of the point ... Art journaling is for _me_, and since I know the poem by heart, I don't need to read the lines exactly. I just need to remind myself of this poem, think about it and its meaning more often. The many arches in the background of my image have a meaning that makes sense too, if you read the poem - there's an English translation here.
