January 15 – Filled Layout (Style Challenge) Greetings fellow-scrappers! I’m so glad you’re here!! I hope you're enjoying this year's MOC! Today’s challenge is one of my favorites and is all about creating a lovely layout that is brimming with photos and digital goodies. When I think of a “filled style” layout, I consider the layout to be at least half the page full of elements, paints, papers, photos and/or journaling. With the wonderful designers in our shop, it won’t be hard to find tons of great items to use to fill up your page!! Here is the page I created for the challenge: I used the following kits for my page: A Little Bit Extra by Mommyish, Splendor, Beginnings & Alphabet Soup by Etc By Danyale, School Ephemera Country Fair & Documentary by Sahlin Studios, School Elements by Paula Kesserling, Beauty Full & Blessings by ForeverJoy 1. Create a single page layout where at least half the page is filled with any combination of elements, paints, papers, photos and/or journaling. At least one photo should be on your page, multiple photos are okay. (Pocket pages and templates are fine to use, but are not a requirement) Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: 1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). 2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. 3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).
Yes, at least one photo is required, along with other items so that your page is at least 1/2 filled up ...
As long as the layout is at least half filled, you can use multiple photos, keeping in mind that pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).
Update: THANK YOU for clarifying this in the instructions, can't wait to get started on my page! Thank you for such a great style challenge! Might you want to update the requirements in the original post? Many of us copy and paste them and keep them in a notepad to work on challenges, it might really confuse a lot of people since it's not listed in the requirements? If this challenge hadn't been so newly posted I would have never seen Sharon's question about it and my page would have been wrong, this may happen to others too. It still says: 1. Create a single page layout where at least half the page is filled with any combination of elements, paints, papers, photos and/or journaling. (Pocket pages and templates are fine to use, but are not a requirement) It doesn't state you must use at least one photo, it says any combination and uses the verbage and/or.
Wan't to document the cats as troublemakers so this page is the result. Please let me know if you don't think it is half full. Here's mine:
this will be another real challenge for me. But thanks God not half of the page should be a journaling lol
i'm a few days behind but looking forward to getting to this one where i can use absolutely everything and go a bit crazy with elements
